This is the second day that baby girl is...breathing on her own! She started out slow and the general plan is to have her off the vent during the day before she comes home. She started by being off the ventilator one hour during the day and one hour at night. Currently, she's off five hours during the day and five hours at night. She's doing well and hasn't had any setbacks. She still has her trach and probably will for several more months. The blue tube is her humidifier. The clear tube to the left of the blue one is her oxygen. She only gets a quarter liter or a half liter of oxygen to help her along.

Miss. Sophia in an exersaucer! Miss. Sophia had the opportunity to get into an exersaucer in one of her physical therapy sessions. Her objective is to use her hands and look at toys. She can't grab many things and both eyes can't focus at the same time. Hopefully, she'll get there one day. By the way, the next day she rolled over by herself!

Since she's getting too big to take a bath in the pink baby tub, she is now taking a bath in the bathtub! This is her first time and she loved it. Look at her being quite the diva. Hands behind her head, legs crossed at the ankles, and perfectly content being pampered. I love it!
